Claudia Rivas

My journey to health and wellness started in 2004.  I was training for triathlon races and taking pre-requisites courses for a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy but my journey took me on a different path.  Upon moving to San Diego I dedicated myself to helping my personal training clients exercise properly, avoiding injuries and living a healthier lifestyle.

Wellness is not just exercise and nutrition but also a balance of mind, body and spirit.  While earning my degree in Health and Wellness, I took a course in Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM). After experiencing Reiki healing sessions myself I saw and felt the benefits of Reiki.  I am passionate about providing a calm, relaxing, healing experience and helping others achieve balance.

My hobbies include outdoor activities: running, road cycling and mountain biking, dancing, teaching Zumba, Stand Up Paddle Boading and live music.
